Editorial | Girl From Ipanema
Featured in UZU magazine this month. Tia and Hope (of UZU) also interviewed me about my label Grade, keep an eye out for that feature! There are many more wonderful people in this issue.

Grade Fall 2013
My womenswear label Grade will be dropping its Fall 2013 line this March. This season I've included lingerie and accessories to the mix. I'm over the moon to share this image with you, a preview of an editorial for Issue II of UZU Magazine featuring Tassel Earrings in black. Thank you to model Samantha Hughes (photographer) and beauty by Demi Mason (Mecca Cosmetica).
If you would like to pre-order a pair, please email me at gradewomenswear@gmail.com.

Seasons greetings
Here is a photo taken and styled by me recently when collaborating with Samantha and Emmelie.
Also (and mostly), I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas period spent with the people you love most.

This ain't right
I'm going to say it. There is a big gap in the online sewing community. What there definitely is, is a world of Crafty Fun and Thrifty Moms and Eco Chic (hopefully not real sites but if they are soz) who are not helpful to me. Look, here's How To Customize Your Jeans!!!!!! For instance last night I decided to read up on natural dying methods and I gave up shortly after googling these key words because neither Thrifty Mom or Eco Chic could help me.
This ain't right. If you realize that I have spoken the truth, you might like to know that I'm currently in the process of planning my own blog of tutorials, DIY's and useful information. For the real life seamstress, who is more like this,
than this.
What do you think?

Emmelie
Today I put Emmelie in House of Holland while Samantha Hughes fired her film. Here is a preview of the editorial with some test polaroids that turned out magically. We shot at my boyfriend's parents house, which is Euro as hell with velvet and wood decadence through-out.
Emmelie was a total joy to work with! The most gorgeous girl and spirit.
Coat is House of Holland, underwear is Sam's own and sunglasses are my own.

Pomelo and grapefruit
I have these images in my hot little hands but I can't let myself reveal anything. I'm dying.
Yesterday I met Samantha Hughes for the first time. The universe was responsible for our creative marriage. We proposed to each other, at the same time. We shot model Ana Zarac at my home in film. It was a fantastic and intense day.
The full editorial will be published shortly. You'll be the first to know.
