I just spent two weeks visiting my beautiful relatives in Indonesia. I sat in traffic in Jakarta, visited valleys in Bukuttinggi and ate at the beach in Padang. I made little purchases, but I did acquire a pair of handmade Bakiak and some fresh Longchamp and Bally fakes.
Padang cuisine. Multiple dishes are always brought out, there are no menus. We ate in outdoor huts on the floor.
